In addition, as an interim manager and consultant, I have experience in providing short-term solutions, such as my work at Kasteel Engelenburg in the Netherlands, where I was interim general manager and ensured both operational continuity and quality improvement in a Michelin-rated restaurant. These types of project-based approaches offer me the opportunity to add value quickly and efficiently.

About me
With an extensive background in hotel management, I have managed world-class hotels and resorts in challenging markets such as the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Africa over the past two decades. From start-ups to complete repositionings, my focus is on improving profitability and delivering a first-class guest experience.
After obtaining an MBA from the prestigious Institute de Management Hôtelier International (IMHI), in partnership with Cornell University and ESSEC, and a BA from the Hotel Management School Maastricht, I have dedicated my career to the hotel industry. As a dynamic and multilingual professional, I speak six languages: Dutch, English, German, French, Portuguese and Spanish. These broad language skills have helped me work across cultures and lead international teams.

When Mr. Maurice was our General Manager of The Cove Rotana Resort with nearly 400 rooms & villas at that time in Ras Al Khaimah UAE, I still remember about how Mr. Maurice forecasted, pushed and motivated Sales & Marketing and also our Revenue & Reservation team within pre-opening years. Even that was the time with credit crisis and empty the other hotels, we were fulled and even tried to finished the construction for unfinish rooms to host the groups and events before fully opening.
